Monday 12 November
The first group of 2007 - 2008 Commercial Yachtmaster's head off south on Jessy of Adrigole. Flat calm seas, clear skies and a promise of southerlies has given the crew a wonderful start to their journey to the Canary Islands.
Skipper - Niall MacAllister
Crew - Simon Wilson, John Shananan, Tony Leibscher (and his hat), Richard Moran and Steve Marquart
Departure - 15:00 from Adrigole pier
First Stop over - Crosshaven, arrival 19:00
Tuesday 13 November
It was a 05:00 wake up this morning and they slipped the mooring at 06:00 heading for Brest, Britanny, France.
All the crew (and the skipper) were in great form at 06:30 and setting the spinnaker lines ready to fly the kite and get some speed. Such entheusiasm.
