Thursday 23 November
Unfortunately Dec is under the weather and is going to stay in Adrigole until he is fighting fit.
18:00 The weather has been terrible, the forecast looks terrible, but there is a small weather window, so they decide to go for it. Well, when I say go for it, they are heading out to Lawrence Cove on Bere Island for the night and then heading off first thing (before sun rise).
22:00 A trip that normally takes 30 minutes, took 3 hours!
Friday 24 November
05:00 Skipper put his head out and decided it was still too blowy so everyone can go back to bed.
10:00 No wind at all now, they are on there way to Kinsale; because of the forecast they will need to take lots of short stepping stones like this. The swell was horrible and Ivan was very poorly - lying in the cockpit refusing to move.
Saturday 25 November
The journey was rough and they arrived in Kinsale after dark. Ivan is fine now and has eaten a good breakfast. The Sea Area Forcast says Gale force winds but the charts say it is clear - they decide to air on the side of caution and wait for a mid day update.
12:00 Sure enough the Gale warning is over and they slip the ropes, heading for Falmouth.
Sunday 26 November
Jessy is doing them proud and is flying along at 10 knots at times, she really is looking after them. The storm is behind them and they want to hit land as soon as possible.
16:00 They decided to get to the nearest port, which is close to Penzance. There is very little there. They are very worried about Bettine, she is not at all happy - she's forgotten her cash point card!!!!!! EEK!! Western Union HELP!
Monday 27 November
We wait for the next weather window. We might head off tomorrow.
